    From 2 PM this afternoon to 2 PM EDT Saturday.
    IMPACTS
    Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    There will be several periods of stronger winds, with this afternoon seeing strong southerly winds, then a break this evening, before stronger west wind develop tonight into Saturday.

UPDATE: Suspect Arrested for Geneva Stabbing

A Geneva man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred in the city Tuesday night.

32-year-old Rafael Nieves-Cruz is accused of stabbing a man at a home on Genesee Street. The 38-year-old victim suffered a single stab wound to his upper body and at last word was listed in stable condition. He is expected to survive. Nieves-Cruz was spotted walking on Lewis Street Wednesday afternoon and took off running when officers attempted to speak to him. The convicted felon was caught shortly thereafter.

Nieves-Cruz was charged with felony assault and is being held at the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Parole assisted the Geneva Police Department in the apprehension of Nieves-Cruz.
