Wayne County Woman Accused of Stalking Seneca Falls Police Officer

A Wayne County woman has been charged with stalking a local police officer.

Michele Benedict, of Clyde, is accused of calling the Seneca Falls Police Department 256 times in an attempt to speak with one of their officers. Police say none of the phone calls placed by the 52-year-old were for emergencies or police-related matters.

Benedict was sent to Wayne County Jail following her arraignment.
