An Ovid woman was arrested Thursday night by the Seneca Falls Police Department following a shoplifting complaint at Walmart.
It was determined that 26-year-old Courtney Bower, of Ovid, apparently walked out of the store with a shopping cart full of merchandise and failed to render payment for those items. It was learned Bower was previously banned from Walmart due to a prior theft in 2021.
Bower was charged with burglary and grand larceny, both felonies, and was released on an appearance ticket for Seneca Falls Town Court.
