    There will be several periods of stronger winds, with this afternoon seeing strong southerly winds, then a break this evening, before stronger west wind develop tonight into Saturday.

Lyons Woman Accused of Raping 16-Year-Old Boy

A Lyons woman has been charged with felony rape in Niagara County.

State Police report they responded to a domestic dispute in the town of Lockport two days before Christmas. An investigation determined that 21-year-old Kaprisha Gatson allegedly had sex with a 16-year-old boy. Gatson turned herself in at the State Police Barracks in Niagara on Wednesday.

Following her arraignment, Gatson was released to appear in court late next month
