City of Ithaca Issues Water Bill Corrections

SHARE NOW

Residents who live in Zone Three in the city of Ithaca should be on the lookout in their mail for new water bills from the city.

City of Ithaca Zone 3 water bills (accounts beginning in numbers 49-81) dated 12/20/23 were issued using incorrect water and sewer rates. New bills were produced and are being mailed out today, January 4, 2024, with the correct water and sewer rates. New bills will be dated 12/20/23, the envelope with have “Urgent” stamped on it, and it will include an excerpt explaining that it is the correct billing.

  • If you have already made a payment on your December bill and it was processed by our office, you will see a credit on your corrected billing.
  • If your December payment is presently in the mail, we will apply your payment and credit any additional overage paid to your account.
The correct rates are $9.92 for water and $7.29 for sewer.   Questions can be directed to the City Chamberlain’s Office at 607-274-6580
