A local woman was ticketed following a one-car rollover accident that happened on New Year’s morning on Italy Valley Road in Yates County.
Law enforcement says Kerry Brown, of Branchport, was able to self-extricate herself from the car before being taken by ambulance to Thompson Hospital for lacerations to her hands and feet as well as back pain.
Brown was ticketed for speeding and unsafe tires and will appear in Italy Town Court at a later date.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by Prattsburgh Fire and Ambulance along with Naples Fire and Ambulance.
