UPDATE:  State Police identified the driver killed in Tuesday’s accident: 62-year-old Thomas Doherty, of Webster.

An accident at the intersection of State Route 441 and Canandaigua Road in Walworth Tuesday afternoon killed one person and injured three others.

State Police say 18-year-old Evan Haggett, of Victor, was traveling north on Canandaigua Road when his Ford Focus struck a Hyundai Sonata that was westbound on State Route 441. The driver of the Sonata, a 62-year-old man whose name has yet to be released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 56-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Sonota, and two girls ages 17 and 15 who were passengers in Haggett’s car were all taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

State Police are continuing to investigate.
