A Livingston County man was sentenced to 22 years in prison for murdering his two-month-old son.
Zachary McCaa was sentenced to 22 years to life in prison for a murder charge, five to 15 years for manslaughter, and one year for child endangerment, all of which are concurrent. Investigators say the 26-year-old McCaa shook the baby violently on multiple occasions and then threw the infant, resulting in him hitting his head.
McCaa was the sole caregiver at the Caledonia residence.
