The United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes recently hosted its Leadership Development Program graduation at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Over 100 leaders graduated from the following programs: African American Leadership Development Program (AALDP), Latino Leadership Development Program (LLDP), Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP), PRIDE Leadership Development Program (PLDP), and Development of Indo-American Leaders (DIAL) Program. These programs aim to advance and broaden the participation of diverse individuals in influential leadership positions throughout our communities.
AALDP alum also recognized Rodney A. Young, senior community relationship manager & AALDP coordinator at United Way, for his 23 years of service to AALDP. Young has contributed to the education and cultivation of 1,000 AALDP community leaders in the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region.
