Union Springs has a new village clerk.
Chris Van Horn has been appointed by Mayor Rob Thurston Jr to the position that will see her coordinate various administrative tasks and village functions. Van Horn told Finger Lakes News Radio that she’s excited about her new position and looks forward to meeting with residents and helping them with whatever questions they may have.
The village opened its search for a new clerk earlier this year, accepting applications until November 1.
