Waterloo Man Accused of Attempting to Damage Patrol Car

A Waterloo man was arrested by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office on charges of harassment and attempted criminal mischief.

The arrest of Joshua Jones stemmed from the report and response to a domestic incident in the town of Waterloo that occurred on November 18th at around 2 a.m. It was reported that during the domestic, Jones struck another person in the head with objects while throwing them.

After being uncooperative with deputies as they attempted to take him into custody, Jones allegedly attempted to damage a sheriff’s office patrol car while in the back seat.

Jones was brought to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office to await CAP arraignment.

An Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
