    IMPACTS
    The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 to 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Public Hearing on ’24 Yates County Budget Tonight

A public hearing on the proposed 2024 Yates County Budget will be held tonight. Prior to retiring at the start of the month, then-county administrator and budget officer Nonie Flynn told us this was a good plan for taxpayers.

 

Tonight’s public hearing starts at six in the Legislative Chambers of the County Courthouse.
