Kyle Brimm and Scott Bowes

What happens next?  A race for a seat on the Geneva City Council remains tied.

Republican Kyle Brimm and Democrat Scott Bowes remained tied in the race for Ward six.  Each candidate received a total of 89 votes on election day.

The Finger Lakes Times reports absentee ballots were counted yesterday but, there were no extra ballots to count in their race for Geneva City Council.

Democrats say the winner will be determined by a coin flip; the GOP says it will be a City Council majority appointment.
