    The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 to 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

    Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Woman Reported Missing In Steuben County Found Dead

An unattended death in Steuben County is under investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office tells Finger Lakes Daily News the body of a woman who lived in Corning and was reported missing at around 11 Wednesday morning was later located in the town of Hornby. An autopsy of the woman will be conducted at the order of the Sheriff.
