    IMPACTS
    The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 to 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Update on Penn Yan Rollover Accident That Injured Two

We have some new details on the one-car rollover accident that happened in the village of Penn Yan and injured two people.

Penn Yan PD says tickets are pending after the driver of the car, Edward James, apparently fell asleep behind the wheel shortly after 11 last Thursday night causing his car to overturn on the front lawn of a home on Clinton Street.

James was taken to Strong by ambulance for a head injury. His passenger, Dikeedrin Flores, was airlifted by Mercy Flight to Strong for a non-life-threatening injury.

Penn Yan Police was assisted at the scene by Penn Yan Fire, Penn Yan Ambulance, and Yates County Ambulance
