A Montour Falls man will spend the next six years in prison for assaulting and injuring a State Trooper during his arrest on burglary charges earlier this year.
In addition to the six years behind bars, Steven Bonham was also sentenced to two years post-release supervision for the felony assault conviction and two-to-six years behind bars for the felony burglary conviction. The 28-year-old also received one-year sentences for misdemeanor criminal mischief and petit larceny convictions. The sentences will run concurrently.
Bonham pleaded guilty to the charges back in August. He was also ordered to pay more than $1,800 in restitution.
