A person suffered minor injuries after being struck by a car in Wayne County.
It happened Wednesday morning at the intersection of Queen and William Streets in Lyons. The driver of the car, Jenna Warot, was turning left onto Queen when she struck the pedestrian. The unidentified victim was taken to Newark Wayne Community Hospital for further evaluation.
Warot was ticketed for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
