An inmate at the Wayne County Jail is facing new charges following his arrest.
32-year-old Jacob Rivera, of Welch, West Virginia, is accused of getting into a physical altercation with another inmate and disregarding orders by Corrections Officers to stop. During the altercation, a CO was injured while attempting to separate Rivera from the other inmate.
Rivera, who was already in custody on unrelated charges, was arraigned at the Wayne County Jail in CAPS Court.
