Nominations Sought for Seneca County’s “Woman of the Year”

SHARE NOW

The Seneca County Women’s Coalition is seeking nominations for its annual “Woman of the Year” celebration in March.

The Coalition seeks “an outstanding woman who has made a difference in her community.” Women who have been recognized for their contributions in the past include Jan Carraccilo, Jane Sessler, Judge Kathy Jans-Duffy, and last year’s recipient Coreen Lowry. Proceeds from the March event are donated to the recipient’s favorite charity. Over the past 50 years, the raised funds have helped many worthy non-profits in the area including Pathway Home, the American Red Cross, and the Seneca Falls Historical Society.

If you know a woman who has helped change Seneca County for the better please submit your nomination to:

Mrs. Jan Caraccilo

13 Leland Drive

Seneca Falls, 13148.

Nominations must include a resume and why this woman deserves this honor. Nominations must be submitted by December 31, 2023.

If you have any questions, contact Frances T. Barbieri at 315-568-5966.
