The candidates for Canandaigua city supervisor for Wards 2 and 3 will share their thoughts on Ontario County issues during a televised forum on Monday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m.
Nancy H. Yacci, a Democrat, and Richard Russell, the Republican incumbent, will answer questions posed by moderator Lenore Friend, director of public relations and communications for Finger Lakes Community College.
The forum will be broadcast live on Finger Lakes TV, the public access station based at the college. Finger Lakes TV, or FLTV, is accessible via Roku, a 24/7 web stream at fingerlakestv.org/live, Spectrum cable channel 1304, and the Cablecast app for Apple and Android.
The forum will be rebroadcast at 9 a.m. on Oct. 25, 26 and 27 and 7 p.m. on Oct. 24, 25, 26 and 31. It will also be archived on the Finger Lakes TV programming page at fingerlakestv.org.
Topics include the Ontario County landfill, housing for city residents and emergency management with a focus on the past summer’s flooding.
The winner of this election on Tuesday, Nov. 7, will represent the southern half the city on the Ontario County Board of Supervisors.
