    The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 to 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

    Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Retired Syracuse men’s basketball coach Jim Boeheim won’t be away from the game for too long.

A number of media outlets are reporting the Hall of Fame coach is close to signing a deal with ESPN to join the network for their coverage of the upcoming NCAA basketball season. Boeheim would reportedly work as an analyst in-studio and at game sites.

This week it was announced SU will honor the Lyons native with “Jim Boeheim Day” on February 24th when the Orange play Notre Dame.
