A Newark teenager is charged with grand larceny after police say he stole a car from a driveway.
Police say Ian Axtell allegedly took the car from a driveway on Van Dusen Street, took it for a joy ride around the block before he abandoned it on Grace Avenue in the village of Newark.
Axtell was brought to Wayne County Jail and was released on an appearance ticket following his arraignment.
