Two Wayne County women have been charged with a felony after a five-year-old boy was brought to a local hospital suffering from significant malnourishment.
Police say the boy’s condition was so severe back on January 17th he had to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. An investigation determined 37-year-old Vanessa Torrellas and 36-year-old Nicole Torrellas, both of Wolcott, were responsible for the care of the child and were each charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person.
The Torrellas were released on appearance tickets for Wolcott Town Court
