A Geneva resident was arrested Wednesday by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office on offering a false instrument for filing charges.
23-year-old Tanairys Gerena-Otero is accused of failing to disclose income in her household which would have affected her eligibility for public assistance when applying through the Department of Social Services.
Gerena-Otero was released on an appearance ticket for Hopewell Town Court.
