Clyde Woman Accused of Assault With a Baseball Bat

A 20-year-old Clyde woman has been charged with assault after she allegedly hit another person with a wooden baseball bat. The alleged incident on Wednesday night involving Alexis Kendt occurred in front of two children under the age of 17. Kendt is also accused of breaking a window and preventing police from effecting the arrest following the investigation.

Kendt was charged with assault, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, obstructing governmental administration, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The assault victim was taken to Newark Wayne Community Hospital where he was treated and released.
