A Branchport man has been charged with two counts of criminal contempt for two separate incidents that happened in the village of Penn Yan.
Officers were dispatched to a home for the report of an Order of Protection violation on September 15th and 18th. An investigation determined 38-year-old Michael Labadee had allegedly attempted to contact a person who had an Order of Protection against him multiple times.
Labadee was taken into custody and released on appearance tickets for Penn Yan Village Court
