A one car accident in Yates County Friday night resulted in the arrest of a Branchport man.
According to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office, James Brownlow had just turned onto Pulver Hill Road from Italy Hill Road and as he headed northbound, he entered into the southbound lane and drive into a ditch on the west side of the roadway.
Brownlow was placed through a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was also ticketed for an unsafe lane change and failure to keep right.
Brownlow was brought to the Yates County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
