A fight Labor Day night at a gas station in Canandaigua resulted in one person being stabbed.
Police say during the fight, Matthew Wood allegedly pulled out a knife and subsequently stabbed the victim in the leg during the physical altercation. The 40-year-old Wood then fled the scene but was later arrested and charged with assault.
The victim was taken to Thompson Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
