A new book details the planning and early days of the Women’s Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls.

The book titled “A National Park for Women’s Rights-The Campaign That Made It Happen” was written by the park’s founder and first superintendent Judy Hart.

The book begins with the idea in 1978,  the park’s opening in 1982, and the following years.   The book, which is being published by Cornell University Press, will be available in October.
