A 70-year-old Geneva man is back behind bars after a search warrant at his State Street home allegedly turned up drugs.
Authorities say they found fentanyl, along with packaging and other items used in the sale and distribution of drugs at Jesus Cordero’s home. A convicted felon, Cordero was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and is jailed without bail. Additional charges are pending following a grand jury presentation.
Cordero’s arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of Fentanyl in Ontario County. The Sheriff’s Department was assisted in the investigation by the Canandaigua and Geneva Police Departments.
