A Steuben County man has been arrested on a kidnapping charge.
Joseph Wilson, of Pulteney, is accused of holding another person against their will for an extended period of time and subjecting them to strangulation, all of which resulted in injuries. Wilson is also accused of damaging the victim’s phone and threatening them with a shotgun.
In addition to kidnapping, the 41-year-old was charged with strangulation, and criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies and misdemeanor charges of assault and criminal mischief.
At last word, Wilson was being held for arraignment at the county jail.
