A Tompkins County man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Steuben County.
State Police say Joseph Hollander of Newfield was riding on State Route 417 in the town of Erwin at around 10 Tuesday morning when a group of deer ran into the road. Hollander struck one of the deer, which resulted in him being ejected from his motorcycle.
The 70-year-old was airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre where he later passed away from his injuries.
