Ithaca Murder Suspect Found Guilty

A jury has ruled a Tompkins County man is responsible for stabbing another man to death in October of last year in Ithaca.

40-year-old Jeremiah Jordan was found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of Michael Monroe behind 131 East Green Street during the early morning hours of last October 28th. The Ithaca Voice reports Jordan was also convicted of tampering with physical evidence.

Jordan faces up to 25 years in prison when sentenced in late August.
