A 74-year-old man has been arrested for sex crimes in Tompkins County.
State Police say the arrest of Stephan Starks, of Newfield, stems from an investigation that began last year by members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. It’s alleged Starks inappropriately touched a child under the age of 13 on several occasions.
Starks was charged with predatory sexual assault against a child and sex abuse, both felonies.
