    IMPACTS
    The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 to 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    Actual air temperature will be below zero each night through Sunday morning. The prolonged cold could cause pipes to freeze or burst. Daytime high temperatures will climb above zero with afternoon highs of 10 to 20 degrees above zero.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Waterloo Man Accused of Striking a Woman

The investigation into a domestic incident that happened earlier this month in Seneca Falls has resulted in the arrest of a 28-year-old Waterloo man.

Jeremy Capron is accused of striking a woman while also physically restraining her and preventing her from calling 9-1-1. He is also accused of obstructing the woman’s breathing.

Capron is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, criminal mischief, unlawful imprisonment, harassment and aggravated family offense. At last word, he was awaiting arraignment in the Seneca County CAP Court.

An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
