The unemployment rate is down slightly in New York State.
According to data released by the Department of Labor, May’s unemployment rate was 3.8%, down from 4.0% during the same time last year. This data has not been seasonally adjusted.
With the exception of Steuben County, all counties in the Finger Lakes either saw their unemployment rates drop or stay the same. All are below the state’s rate of 3.8%..
