A Geneva woman has been arrested after police say she illegally purchased multiple firearms for her husband, who is a convicted felon and sex offender and is currently on probation.
A search warrant executed at Amy Parsons-Colon and Joseph Colon’s Humbert Street home yielded four firearms, including assault rifles that were not compliant with New York laws, ammunition reloading equipment, copious rounds of ammo, and a bulletproof vest.
The Colons were charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon with additional charges pending.
Joseph Colon was convicted in 2018 of sexual abuse and sexual contact with two girls, both under the age of five.
