A referral made by Child Protective Services to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of a 31-year-old Shortsville man on two counts of sexual abuse.
Timothy Nielsen was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child and forcible touching. Following his arraignment, Nielsen was sent to Ontario County Jail in lieu of bail.
A stay-away order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
