Seneca Supervisors Approve EMS Study

SHARE NOW

Ambulance service in Seneca County is close to being on life support as North Seneca Ambulance is looking for additional funding.

The ambulance service recently sent out a mailer asking residents for financial support and this week the Seneca County Board of Supervisors approved a $48-thousand-dollar study on how to pay for EMS services in the county.

Seneca County Board of Supervisors Chairman Mike Enslow says it’s a serious issue that needs immediate attention.

The supervisors also approved establishing a local development corporation to run former Boy Scout.Camp Babcock-Hovey as a state park, and the board sent back to committee the issue of sharing sales tax with the county’s towns and villages.
