A Southern Tier man could be going to prison after he allegedly broke into a former prison.
35-year-old Justin Hoose was arrested by State Police after he apparently forced his way into the former Southport Correctional Facility and posted pictures online. The Southport man was charged with criminal trespass and released on an appearance ticket.
The Southport Correctional Facility was closed by the state in 2022.
