Pediatrician Pleads Guilty to Child Endangerment

SHARE NOW

A doctor who was employed as a pediatrician at the Wolcott Medical Center has been arrested for an incident involving a child at his home in Monroe County.

State Police started an investigation into Adam Weis back in December after it was reported he allegedly had inappropriate contact with a 9-year-old.  On Wednesday, the 37-year-old Webster man was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and subsequently pled guilty in Webster Town Court. As part of the plea agreement, Dr. Weis agreed to forfeit his right to practice medicine.

The incident did not occur as part of Weis’ medical practice.
