A Bath woman has been arrested after she allegedly received $15,000 in benefits from the Department of Social Services that she was not eligible to receive.
43-year-old Renee Morris is accused of offering a false instrument for filing and falsifying business records from April 1st of last year until the end of last month. Morris has been charged with offering a false instrument for filing, falsifying business records, and grand larceny, all felonies.
Following her arraignment, Morris was sent to Steuben County Jail.
