SHARE NOW

Finger Lakes Community College will shut down much of the main campus building from May 22 through June 4 to replace electrical equipment that has been in place since the college was built in the early 1970s.

Most of the Student Center wing will remain open. This includes the One Stop Center and related offices, bookstore, FLCC Association offices, and Student Life. Students may visit campus to take care of enrollment-related business and buy books and supplies.

The shutdown impacts the original 1970s structure, including the gym, the art gallery, and the library. The Finger Lakes Cafe on the second floor of the Student Center will also be closed from May 22 through June 4.

With summer session beginning on May 25, classes will be remote through June 4. Many employees will work remotely through June 4. The full college is closed for Memorial Day. In-person classes and work activities will resume on Monday, June 5.
