A Painted Post man was charged with DWI after police in Penn Yan say he almost struck one of their patrol cars while driving on Elm Street and Route 54A.
75-year-old David McNeil was stopped and placed through a series of field sobriety tests, which he reportedly failed. McNeil was charged with DWI .08 or greater, DWI Common Law, and Failure to Keep Right.
McNeill will appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date to answer the charges.
