A Huron man has been arrested for an accident that occurred back on March 29th.
Jake Vancuyck was arrested after his car went off Lake Bluff Road down an embankment and ended up in a field. The 26-year-old suffered minor injuries and was taken to Newark-Wayne Community Hospital where he submitted to a blood draw. Lab results showed that Vancuyuk had a BAC of 0.18% at the time of the accident.
On Thursday, Vancuyuk was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .18% or greater, and other vehicle and traffic violations.
Vancuyuk was released on appearance tickets.
