A Cayuga County woman has been arrested while attempting to cross the US-Canadian border with Xanax.
State Troopers report the Tuesday arrest of 58-year old Lori Lacasse of Genoa after an investigation determined she was crossing the border at the Seaway International Bridge in Massena while in possession of the antianxiety medication.
Lacasse was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and issued an appearance ticket for Massena Town Court.
