A Lyons man was hospitalized with back and chest injuries after being involved in a one-car accident.
Thomas Luckenbach was traveling south on Maple Street Road in Lyons when he lost control of his car, which went into a ditch, struck an embankment before it flipped over, and struck the embankment again before coming to rest in the road on Saturday. Luckenbach fled the scene of the accident and was later located at the Hospital after being transported by a private vehicle.
Luckenback was ticketed for speeding and unsafe lane change.
