Two Women, Including Mom, Accused of Giving Pot to Teen

The Wayne County Office of Sheriff reports the arrest of two Lyons women after an investigation into an incident at the Lyons High School.

Deputies arrested 39-year-old Stacy Derr and 54-year-old Helen Marcano, of Lyons after it is alleged that Marcano smoked Marihuana with her daughter and Derr provided Marcano’s daughter with a marihuana edible. It was reported after the juvenile began to have an issue at school, due to having too much marihuana and she began to have hallucinations. The juvenile was transported to Newark Wayne Community Hospital for an evaluation.

Both Derr and Marcano were arrested for one count of Endangering the Welfare of a child.
