A man was airlifted to a regional trauma center after crashing his bicycle in the 500 block of East Buffalo Street in Ithaca and going unconscious.
The accident happened at around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon when the man reportedly struck a pothole, which caused him to lose control of the Ithaca Bikeshare E-Bike he was riding. The unidentified man struck the pavement head-first and suffered what police say was a traumatic injury to his head and face.
No other information was released by Ithaca Police.
