Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Town of Genoa

The Boil Water Advisory for the Town of Genoa has been lifted.

The Cayuga County Health Department says drinking water samples collected Monday and Tuesday were satisfactory to cancel the order put in place after a Friday water main break caused a section of the water system to lose pressure, increasing the chance of untreated water and harmful microbes entering residents’ taps.
